Process overview
Abrasive waterjet cutting uses a high-pressure stream of water and garnet to cut almost any material without generating heat — so there is no heat-affected zone, no thermal distortion and no need for secondary finishing on many parts.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What materials can a waterjet cut?
Almost anything — metals, stone, glass, ceramics, composites, rubber and foam. Tempered glass is the main exception.
How thick can you cut?
Up to around 150 mm depending on the material, with tight tolerances on most thicknesses.
Why choose waterjet over laser or plasma?
Waterjet leaves no heat-affected zone and cuts materials that thermal processes cannot, making it ideal for heat-sensitive or layered parts.
Are your manufacturing partners certified?
Yes — MECUNA works only with vetted, certified partners. Certification is held by the producing partner in our network; documentation is available per order.
